Based on a comparison of 121 countries in 2024, Hong Kong ranked the highest in population in cities of more than 1 million as a share of population with 100% followed by Singapore and Puerto Rico. On the other end of the scale was Ethiopia with 4.32%, Poland with 4.92% and Nepal with 5.47%.
