Total apricot production reached 3,863 kt in 2022 in the World according to Faostat. This is 6.23 % more than in the previous year and 0.037 % more than 10 years ago.
Historically, total apricot production reached an all time high of 4,789 kt in 2017 and an all time low of 1,088 kt in 1962. The average annual growth amounted to 1.78 % since 1961.
The top ranked country, Turkey, accounted for 20.8 % of apricot production in the world. The top 3 countries hold a 40.4 % share while the ten largest countries some 69.7 % in 2022.
