Based on a comparison of 174 countries in 2024, Russia ranked the highest in female population as a percentage of total population with 58.2% followed by Belarus and Bulgaria. On the other end of the scale was Qatar with 24.5%, United Arab Emirates with 31.0% and Oman with 36.1%.
