Based on a comparison of 17 banks in Czechia in 1Q2025, CSOB was the largest mortgage lender, followed by Ceska Sporitelna and Komercni Banka.
CSOB's mortgage loans reached CZK 550,321 mil, up 1.61% when compared to the previous quarter and up 5.31% when compared to the same period of last year. Historically, the bank’s mortgage loans reached an all time high of CZK 550,321 mil in 1Q2025 and an all time low of CZK 39,100 mil in 4Q2005.
At the end of 1Q2025, mortgage loans represented 53.9% of CSOB's loan book.
When compared to the nearest peers, Ceska Sporitelna's mortgage loans amounted to CZK 468,889 mil at the end of 1Q2025, Komercni Banka operated with CZK 385,400 mil mortgage loans and UniCredit Bank Czecho-Slovakia had a mortgage loan book of CZK 182,000 mil at the end of 1Q2025.
