Based on a comparison of 124 countries in 2024, Chad ranked the highest in non-performing loans as a share of bank loans with 31.5% followed by Equatorial Guinea and Ukraine. On the other end of the scale was South Korea with 0.264%, Lithuania with 0.438% and Norway with 0.461%.
