Historically, total primary coal production in Ukraine reached an all time high of 128,402 kt in 1992 and an all time low of 33,522 kt in 2015. When compared to Ukraine's main peers, total primary coal production in Poland amounted to 149,147 kt, 28,101 kt in Romania and 409,701 kt in Russia in 2015.
