Historically, total fibre furnish production in China reached an all time high of 69,226,000 kt in 2017 and an all time low of 2,200,000 kt in 1961. When compared to China's main peers, total fibre furnish production in India amounted to 9,826,800 kt, 29,338,000 kt in Japan, 12,129,000 kt in Russia and 95,712,814 kt in USA in 2018.
