Total coal consumption fell 21.3% to 45,503 kt in Ukraine in 2015, according to the National Statistical Office.
Historically, total coal consumption in Ukraine reached an all time high of 132,331 kt in 1992 and an all time low of 45,503 kt in 2015. When compared to Ukraine's main peers, total coal consumption in Poland amounted to 148,717 kt, 29,771 kt in Romania and 228,176 kt in Russia in 2015.
