Historically, timber removals per capita in Suriname reached an all time high of 1.21 cbm in 2015 and an all time low of 0.305 cbm in 1999. When compared to Suriname's main peers, timber removals per capita in Brazil amounted to 1.26 cbm, 1.61 cbm in Guyana, 0.072 cbm in Trinidad and Tobago and 0.179 cbm in Venezuela in 2015.
