Historically, timber removals per capita in Italy reached an all time high of 0.240 cbm in 1963 and an all time low of 0.083 cbm in 2015. When compared to Italy's main peers, timber removals per capita in Austria amounted to 2.07 cbm, 0.816 cbm in France, 2.45 cbm in Slovenia and 0.513 cbm in Switzerland in 2015.
