Historically, timber removals in Thailand reached an all time high of 34,713 '000 cbm in 2003 and an all time low of 23,353 '000 cbm in 1996. When compared to Thailand's main peers, timber removals in Cambodia amounted to 8,064 '000 cbm, 9,821 '000 cbm in Laos, 20,361 '000 cbm in Malaysia and 44,286 '000 cbm in Myanmar in 2015.
