Historically, textiles and clothing as a share of value added in manufacturing in Portugal reached an all time high of 66.2% in 2022 and an all time low of 13.9% in 2004. When compared to Portugal's main peers, textiles and clothing as a share of value added in manufacturing in France amounted to 75.7%, 27.5% in Ireland, 16.5% in Morocco and 19.0% in Spain in 2022.
