Historically, total spice consumption in Vietnam reached an all time high of 204 kt in 2021 and an all time low of 25.4 kt in 1961. When compared to Vietnam's main peers, total spice consumption in Cambodia amounted to 12.0 kt, 703 kt in China, 17.0 kt in Laos and 507 kt in Thailand in 2021.
