Secure internet servers rose 17.6% to 8,422 in Sri Lanka in 2020, according to World Bank.
Historically, secure internet servers in Sri Lanka reached an all time high of 8,937 in 2018 and an all time low of 6.00 in 2001. When compared to Sri Lanka's main peers, secure internet servers in India amounted to 662,298, 242,565 in Malaysia, 578 in Maldives and 765 in Myanmar in 2020.
Sri Lanka has been ranked 72nd within the group of 176 countries we follow in terms of secure internet servers, 10 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
