Santander Bank Polska generated total banking revenues of PLN 3,839 mil in the second quarter of 2023, up 10.1% when compared to the same period of last year and 3.7% when compared to the previous quarter.
Historically, the bank’s revenues containing of interest, fee and other non-interest income reached an all time high of PLN 3,839 mil in 2Q2023 and an all time low of PLN 384 mil in 2Q2001. The average revenue in the last six quarters amounted to PLN 3,287 mil.
Net interest income represented 83.4% of total revenues, fee income contributed 17.7% and other non-interest income added further -1.02% to the overall revenue generation in 2Q2023.
Bank's total revenues accounted for 5.82% total assets in the second quarter of 2023, up from 5.66% a year earlier.
When compared to bank's main peers, PKO BP generated total revenues of 5.02% of assets in 2Q2023 Pekao operated with 5.34% revenue margin and ING Bank Slaski produced total income worth 4.62% of assets.
