Santander Bank Polska's capital adequacy ratio reached 19.3% at the end of 2022, up from 19.1% compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 20.0% in 2020 and an all time low of 12.9% in 2014.

The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 17.5% at the end of 2022, up from 17.1% compared to a year earlier.

Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 77.6% at the end of 2022, down from 79.0% when compared to the previous year.

Comparing Santander Bank Polska with its closest peers, PKO BP ended the year 2022 with a capital adequacy ratio at 17.8% and loans to deposits of 68.7%, Pekao with 17.4% and 75.3% respectively and ING Bank Slaski some 15.2% in terms of capital adequacy and 80.5% of loans to deposits at the end of 2022.
