Historically, recovered paper production in Romania reached an all time high of 607,000 kt in 2017 and an all time low of 80,000 kt in 1985. When compared to Romania's main peers, recovered paper production in Bulgaria amounted to 80,000 kt, 559,000 kt in Hungary, 18,000 kt in Moldova and 725,000 kt in Ukraine in 2018.
