Historically, pump prices for diesel fuel in Bangladesh reached an all time high of USD 0.900 per litre in 2014 and an all time low of USD 0.260 per litre in 1998. When compared to Bangladesh's main peers, pump prices for diesel fuel in Bhutan amounted to USD 0.820 per litre, USD 0.810 per litre in China, USD 0.810 per litre in India and USD 0.510 per litre in Myanmar in 2016.
