Historically, proved reserves of natural gas in Algeria reached an all time high of 162 trillion cb ft in 2007 and an all time low of 104 trillion cb ft in 1989. When compared to Algeria's main peers, proved reserves of natural gas in Libya amounted to 53.2 trillion cb ft, 0.051 trillion cb ft in Morocco, 0.090 trillion cb ft in Spain and 2.30 trillion cb ft in Tunisia in 2015.
