Historically, production of wood-based panels in Slovenia reached an all time high of 571,000 '000 cbm in 2007 and an all time low of 206,000 '000 cbm in 2017. When compared to Slovenia's main peers, production of wood-based panels in Austria amounted to 3,309,000 '000 cbm, 169,842 '000 cbm in Croatia, 892,310 '000 cbm in Hungary and 3,880,000 '000 cbm in Italy in 2018.
