Historically, production of wood-based panels in Romania reached an all time high of 5,420,903 '000 cbm in 2016 and an all time low of 181,000 '000 cbm in 1961. When compared to Romania's main peers, production of wood-based panels in Bulgaria amounted to 1,007,745 '000 cbm, 892,310 '000 cbm in Hungary, 466 '000 cbm in Moldova and 2,195,700 '000 cbm in Ukraine in 2018.
