Production of wood-based panels rose 2.59% to 9,512,000 '000 cbm in Turkey in 2018, according to Faostat.

Historically, production of wood-based panels in Turkey reached an all time high of 9,550,000 '000 cbm in 2014 and an all time low of 42,000 '000 cbm in 1961. When compared to Turkey's main peers, production of wood-based panels in Bulgaria amounted to 1,007,745 '000 cbm, 336,200 '000 cbm in Greece, 5,000 '000 cbm in Iraq and 1,976,000 '000 cbm in Iran in 2018.
