Historically, production of wood-based panels in China reached an all time high of 208,177,000 '000 cbm in 2016 and an all time low of 155,000 '000 cbm in 1961. When compared to China's main peers, production of wood-based panels in India amounted to 2,830,700 '000 cbm, 5,140,000 '000 cbm in Japan, 17,334,000 '000 cbm in Russia and 35,413,100 '000 cbm in USA in 2018.
