Production of wood-based panels rose 0% to 6,921 '000 cbm in Madagascar in 2018, according to Faostat.

Historically, production of wood-based panels in Madagascar reached an all time high of 9,803 '000 cbm in 2016 and an all time low of 600 '000 cbm in 1966. When compared to Madagascar's main peers, production of wood-based panels in Mozambique amounted to 1,000 '000 cbm, 1,441,855 '000 cbm in South Africa, 53,000 '000 cbm in Swaziland and 4,632 '000 cbm in Tanzania in 2018.
