Historically, production of wood-based panels in Vietnam reached an all time high of 1,490,000 '000 cbm in 2018 and an all time low of 700 '000 cbm in 1964. When compared to Vietnam's main peers, production of wood-based panels in Cambodia amounted to 27,000 '000 cbm, 203,432,000 '000 cbm in China, 24,000 '000 cbm in Laos and 7,044,900 '000 cbm in Thailand in 2018.
Vietnam has been ranked 27th within the group of 118 countries we follow in terms of production of wood-based panels, 20 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
