Historically, production of wood-based panels in Spain reached an all time high of 5,330,000 '000 cbm in 2007 and an all time low of 125,000 '000 cbm in 1961. When compared to Spain's main peers, production of wood-based panels in France amounted to 5,435,000 '000 cbm, 3,880,000 '000 cbm in Italy, 28,400 '000 cbm in Morocco and 1,098,682 '000 cbm in Portugal in 2018.
