Historically, production of wood-based panels in Slovakia reached an all time high of 1,115,427 '000 cbm in 2017 and an all time low of 253,000 '000 cbm in 1993. When compared to Slovakia's main peers, production of wood-based panels in Austria amounted to 3,309,000 '000 cbm, 1,482,103 '000 cbm in Czech Republic, 892,310 '000 cbm in Hungary and 11,355,000 '000 cbm in Poland in 2018.
