Production of sawlogs and veneer logs rose 21.7% to 2,800,000 '000 cbm in Gabon in 2018, according to Faostat.

Historically, production of sawlogs and veneer logs in Gabon reached an all time high of 3,563,000 '000 cbm in 2003 and an all time low of 1,135,000 '000 cbm in 1982. When compared to Gabon's main peers, production of sawlogs and veneer logs in Angola amounted to 200,000 '000 cbm, 3,331,865 '000 cbm in Cameroon, 1,578,000 '000 cbm in Congo and 1,300,000 '000 cbm in Equatorial Guinea in 2018.
