Historically, production of sawlogs and veneer logs in Germany reached an all time high of 57,562,000 '000 cbm in 1990 and an all time low of 16,084,000 '000 cbm in 1963. When compared to Germany's main peers, production of sawlogs and veneer logs in Austria amounted to 10,395,385 '000 cbm, 2,815,490 '000 cbm in Belgium, 17,141,012 '000 cbm in France and 17,787,900 '000 cbm in Poland in 2018.
