Historically, production of sawlogs and veneer logs in Ghana reached an all time high of 2,076,000 '000 cbm in 1973 and an all time low of 410,000 '000 cbm in 1982. When compared to Ghana's main peers, production of sawlogs and veneer logs in Benin amounted to 133,000 '000 cbm, 2,400,000 '000 cbm in Ivory Coast and 166,000 '000 cbm in Togo in 2018.
