Historically, production of sawlogs and veneer logs in Cyprus reached an all time high of 125,000 '000 cbm in 1977 and an all time low of 1,748 '000 cbm in 2017. When compared to Cyprus's main peers, production of sawlogs and veneer logs in Egypt amounted to 134,000 '000 cbm, 304,000 '000 cbm in Greece, 10,400 '000 cbm in Israel and 10,253,000 '000 cbm in Turkey in 2018.
