Historically, production of sawlogs and veneer logs in Belarus reached an all time high of 11,020,000 '000 cbm in 1997 and an all time low of 2,303,500 '000 cbm in 2003. When compared to Belarus's main peers, production of sawlogs and veneer logs in Lithuania amounted to 3,700,000 '000 cbm, 17,787,900 '000 cbm in Poland, 147,173,816 '000 cbm in Russia and 6,021,000 '000 cbm in Ukraine in 2018.
Belarus has been ranked 22nd within the group of 149 countries we follow in terms of production of sawlogs and veneer logs, 11 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
