Historically, production of sawlogs and veneer logs in Turkey reached an all time high of 10,253,000 '000 cbm in 2018 and an all time low of 1,400,000 '000 cbm in 1961. When compared to Turkey's main peers, production of sawlogs and veneer logs in Bulgaria amounted to 1,613,447 '000 cbm, 304,000 '000 cbm in Greece, 25,000 '000 cbm in Iraq and 162,000 '000 cbm in Iran in 2018.
