Historically, production of sawlogs and veneer logs in Mozambique reached an all time high of 480,000 '000 cbm in 2018 and an all time low of 22,000 '000 cbm in 1992. When compared to Mozambique's main peers, production of sawlogs and veneer logs in Malawi amounted to 230,000 '000 cbm, 4,702,445 '000 cbm in South Africa, 785,079 '000 cbm in Tanzania and 1,345,000 '000 cbm in Zambia in 2018.
