Historically, production of sawlogs and veneer logs in Laos reached an all time high of 2,400,000 '000 cbm in 2014 and an all time low of 14,000 '000 cbm in 1961. When compared to Laos's main peers, production of sawlogs and veneer logs in Cambodia amounted to 313,000 '000 cbm, 96,352,000 '000 cbm in China, 6,200,000 '000 cbm in Thailand and 16,300,000 '000 cbm in Vietnam in 2018.
