Historically, production of sawlogs and veneer logs in Myanmar reached an all time high of 5,260,000 '000 cbm in 2013 and an all time low of 1,388,000 '000 cbm in 1994. When compared to Myanmar's main peers, production of sawlogs and veneer logs in China amounted to 86,448,000 '000 cbm, 47,804,000 '000 cbm in India, 1,300,000 '000 cbm in Laos and 6,200,000 '000 cbm in Thailand in 2017.
