Production of sawlogs and veneer logs fell 16.2% to 5,909,000 '000 cbm in Ukraine in 2017, according to Faostat.
Historically, production of sawlogs and veneer logs in Ukraine reached an all time high of 7,053,000 '000 cbm in 2016 and an all time low of 3,111,333 '000 cbm in 1995. When compared to Ukraine's main peers, production of sawlogs and veneer logs in Poland amounted to 17,879,405 '000 cbm, 7,854,347 '000 cbm in Romania and 132,456,435 '000 cbm in Russia in 2017.
