Historically, production of pulp for paper in Sweden reached an all time high of 12,402,000 kt in 2007 and an all time low of 4,804,000 kt in 1962. When compared to Sweden's main peers, production of pulp for paper in Denmark amounted to 4,830 kt, 10,683,000 kt in Finland, 902,000 kt in Norway and 8,392,000 kt in Russia in 2017.
