Historically, production of printing and writing paper in Poland reached an all time high of 884,283 kt in 2008 and an all time low of 155,100 kt in 1961. When compared to Poland's main peers, production of printing and writing paper in Czech Republic amounted to 101,308 kt, 6,725,000 kt in Germany, 965,000 kt in Russia and 11,000 kt in Ukraine in 2018.
