Historically, production of dates in Jordan reached an all time high of 30,000 tonnes in 2022 and an all time low of 4.00 tonnes in 1978. When compared to Jordan's main peers, production of dates in Iraq amounted to 715,293 tonnes, 62,717 tonnes in Israel, 1,610,731 tonnes in Saudi Arabia and 2,382 tonnes in Syria in 2022.
