Production of dates fell 8.31% to 103,112 tonnes in Kuwait in 2022, according to Faostat.
Historically, production of dates in Kuwait reached an all time high of 115,213 tonnes in 2014 and an all time low of 300 tonnes in 1970. When compared to Kuwait's main peers, production of dates in Bahrain amounted to 13,800 tonnes, 715,293 tonnes in Iraq, 1,030,460 tonnes in Iran and 1,610,731 tonnes in Saudi Arabia in 2022.
