Historically, production of green chilli and pepper in Hungary reached an all time high of 232 kt in 1963 and an all time low of 84.8 kt in 2014. When compared to Hungary's main peers, production of green chilli and pepper in Austria amounted to 12.8 kt, 12.1 kt in Czechia, 376 kt in Poland and 1.86 kt in Slovakia in 2022.
