Historically, production of dry chilli and pepper in Vietnam reached an all time high of 100,599 tonnes in 2020 and an all time low of 25,000 tonnes in 1961. When compared to Vietnam's main peers, production of dry chilli and pepper in Cambodia amounted to 13,208 tonnes, 318,063 tonnes in China, 12,182 tonnes in Laos and 327,384 tonnes in Thailand in 2022.
