Historically, production of dry chilli and pepper in Cambodia reached an all time high of 13,265 tonnes in 2020 and an all time low of 4,000 tonnes in 1979. When compared to Cambodia's main peers, production of dry chilli and pepper in China amounted to 318,063 tonnes, 12,182 tonnes in Laos, 327,384 tonnes in Thailand and 99,697 tonnes in Vietnam in 2022.
