Production of cars as a share of worldwide production fell 3.44% to 2.80% in Spain in 2023, according to ACEA.
Historically, production of cars as a share of worldwide production in Spain reached an all time high of 5.84% in 1998 and an all time low of 2.44% in 2012. When compared to Spain's main peers, production of cars as a share of worldwide production in France amounted to 1.51%, 0.797% in Italy, 0.694% in Morocco and 0.358% in Portugal in 2023.
