Price of Cigarettes (As % of Average U.S. Price) rose 18.1% to 62.1% in Bahrain in 2016

Price of cigarettes as a percentage of average U.S. price rose 18.1% to 62.1% in Bahrain in 2016, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, price of cigarettes as a percentage of average U.S. price in Bahrain reached an all time high of 62.1% in 2016 and an all time low of 32.5% in 2010. When compared to Bahrain's main peers, price of cigarettes as a percentage of average U.S. price in Iran amounted to 9.02%, 38.6% in Kuwait, 42.8% in Qatar and 49.8% in Saudi Arabia in 2016.
