Price of Cigarettes (As % of Average U.S. Price) rose 0.095% to 14.2% in Vietnam in 2016

Price of cigarettes as a percentage of average U.S. price rose 0.095% to 14.2% in Vietnam in 2016, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, price of cigarettes as a percentage of average U.S. price in Vietnam reached an all time high of 14.2% in 2008 and an all time low of 11.9% in 2012. When compared to Vietnam's main peers, price of cigarettes as a percentage of average U.S. price in Cambodia amounted to 7.62%, 23.3% in China, 13.4% in Laos and 38.4% in Thailand in 2016.
