Price of Cigarettes (As % of Average U.S. Price) fell 10.6% to 69.2% in Greece in 2016

Price of cigarettes as a percentage of average U.S. price fell 10.6% to 69.2% in Greece in 2016, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, price of cigarettes as a percentage of average U.S. price in Greece reached an all time high of 91.3% in 2008 and an all time low of 69.2% in 2016. When compared to Greece's main peers, price of cigarettes as a percentage of average U.S. price in Albania amounted to 29.2%, 43.2% in Bulgaria, 18.7% in Macedonia and 69.7% in Turkey in 2016.
