Price of Cigarettes (As % of Average U.S. Price) fell 13.9% to 17.9% in Tunisia in 2016

Price of cigarettes as a percentage of average U.S. price fell 13.9% to 17.9% in Tunisia in 2016, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, price of cigarettes as a percentage of average U.S. price in Tunisia reached an all time high of 28.4% in 2008 and an all time low of 17.9% in 2016. When compared to Tunisia's main peers, price of cigarettes as a percentage of average U.S. price in Algeria amounted to 19.0%, 89.9% in Italy, 22.4% in Libya and 91.6% in Malta in 2016.
