Historically, price of cigarettes as a percentage of average U.S. price in Singapore reached an all time high of 176% in 2008 and an all time low of 149% in 2010. When compared to Singapore's main peers, price of cigarettes as a percentage of average U.S. price in Indonesia amounted to 25.7%, 65.2% in Malaysia, 13.4% in Philippines and 38.4% in Thailand in 2016.
